Salus Services are dedicated to shaping the growth and prosperity of the aviation industry to benefit their clients and partners by becoming a member company of the British Aviation Group (BAG).
With a commitment to best practice, innovation and learning from a community of experts, the North West-based Project Services Consultancy announced the start of an exciting new partnership with BAG – the leading representative body for British companies involved in aviation and airport development and operations – in May 2025.
Salus have had an interesting second quarter, making their debut at the BAG & Pinsent Masons Summer Seminar and Networking Reception alongside the likes of Balfour Beatty Plc, a leading international infrastructure group, and Farrans Construction, a leading building and civil engineering contractor.
Summer Seminar
This year’s edition of the Seminar, aimed at providing members with updates on key topics affecting the airports and aviation sector, was hosted by multi-national law firm Pinsent Masons, and brought together 120 guests, clients and stakeholders. Nzinga Orgill and Tim Walder, both members of the BAG Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Working Group, opened the Seminar with an “inclusion moment” to highlight the BAG Allyship Challenge.
Other highlights included Jane Thompson, BAG Deputy Chair, hosting a panel session with representatives of three of BAG’s Strategic Partners – Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport
and Manchester Airports Group – and Mohammed Taher, widely known as “The Airport Guy”, shining light on the current skills crisis and the future of the sector.

BAG membership benefits

BAG’s Business Intelligence & Missions Working Group come together on a regular basis to try and collect as much market research as they can on what’s currently happening in the industry and how things will change in the future. The latest “Business Intelligence Update”, which has been released via the BAG website and shared with their membership, focuses on what’s happening at UK airports and in the international markets.
The BAG community have pulled together to meet the future skills and workforce gap impacting the sector. A key component of the strategy is BAG’s Mentoring Programme, which has the intention of accelerating individuals’ self-development, career progression and overall confidence, and has been taken advantage of by Salus’ team to further grow their talent pool and give them access to the leading voices in the aviation community.
The Programme is aimed at members of the BAG Next Gen Group, which strives to create networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities for younger BAG members to work closely with airports, government, educational bodies and industry. Among the members of the Next Gen Group is Salus’ Head of Project Services Alice Adshead, who has previously worked as a Project Manager at Heathrow Airport as well as on construction projects at Stansted Airport.
