Replacement Roof in Bays 5 & 6 Project
The work included the removal of existing roof surface (which contained ACM’s) and replacement with new along with new gutters, access walkway and associated services.
Our Role
Salus’ role was to provide CDM Coordinator / CDM Adviser services to supplement Alstom’s EHS Policies and Procedures, which detail the company’s responsibilities towards statutory requirements. The role included:
- Ensuring all requirements of the CDM Regulations are adhered to, as defined within the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 / 2015.
- Experience in ensuring Design Contractors / Principal Contractors mitigate hazard and risks to ensure CDM compliance throughout all stages of the project.
- Undertake regular monitoring of the project to ensure CDM compliance.
Result
The 13 month project came to a successful completion with Salus providing advice and support during the project including the transition from CDM 2007 to CDM 2015 Regulations on a highly demanding project.
