Critical projects to keep our airfields operating safely and meeting increasing operational demands

Project

Changes in air traffic management requirements and environmental regulations drives Heathrow Airport to continuously improve its infrastructure for improved operational efficiency. The client required a £8m redesign and delivery of it’s airfield lighting control from gate to runway . For the scheme to be safely and effectively delivered we managed relationships between multiple contractors, NATS, project teams, operational and engineering teams and AGL specialists .

The key objectives was to implement planned changes during runway downtime and before the airport reopening. Required leadership and technical expertise to ensure all parties agreed and visual confirmation checks and approvals completed for preparation for the first flight of the day.
