Project
Our resource developed and programme managed £20m worth of temporary interventions (stents) and end-bearing works across all hospital departments. The Programme Lead negotiated and was responsible for decisions surrounding the criticality of areas and schedule of work, contemplating between Mott Macdonald Structural Engineers advice and clinical demands.
The extent of the structural works resulted in electrical and mechanical service diversions, including medical gas isolations, asbestos removal, fire detection upgrades, fire stopping and fire-door upgrades, to allow for works to be compliant to building regulations. The works were delivered through the management of a team of internal project managers, site managers and the Principal Contractor Kier. Excellent feedback from clinical leadership, we worked collaboratively with operational teams to manage the tight decant programme.
